I made this soft corduroy vest for Alex from material my Aunt Sondra gave to me years ago. He's modeling it while opening mail from his Pap- a highlight of his day. We have a post office box, and Alex loves to walk down for the mail each day. It's especially fun when there is mail for him, and he adores his Pap- so it was a winning combo.
I used this very easy pattern I got on Etsy, and think there are many more vests in Alex's future. Next up is a vest made with digger material I bought this summer.
The vest looks adorable with his green shirt. Good job, Kyle. Marty loved the message and is thrilled that Alex enjoys getting his mail. December is a banner month with lots of reasons to celebrate. Monday is the Feast of St. Nicholas. The tale says that St. Nick loved giving to children. Some say that he is who Santa Claus was model after. Alex will (hopefully) have mail on Monday to celebrate this annual event.
