Painting on stretched canvas

Alex likes to color and paint, and I was inspired by one of my favorite blogs- Sew Liberated- to get a stretched canvas for him to paint on. It was so fun to hang it up in his room, what a great way to preserve his artwork! 

Doesn't he need a cute art smock? I got the old tee shirt idea from a blog too, and I think Alex thought it was fun to wear my shirt.
